Abstract

A Novel Inductively Degenerated CMOS LNA for UWB Applications

Abstract

This paper demonstrates the inductively source- degenerated CMOS LNA designed for UWB applications. LNA is the building block of a RF receiver. The newly designed CMOS LNA utilizes the 180nm technology which provides a gain of 11 dB, with a noise figure of 3 dB over the entire range of operation.
